Welcome!

Available for sale are all the patterns seen on this site.  They are printed on 24 lb fine granite paper, and arrive in your mailbox in a three hole punched plastic protector.  As always, the postage is on us!

Yarn shops:  Wholesale orders are welcome.  Please, 3 pattern minimum per design.  Please e-mail if you are interested in a catalog and I will get one right out to you!

Another year is upon us--what are you going to knit?  If you enjoy my designs, please look to Love of Knitting (Fall 2009) to knit the great tweed sweaters for men and women--the woman's cardigan shown below has raglan construction, lots of great texture and is really fun to knit!

Creative Knitting (January 2010) is full of my designs!  There is a cute baby sweater ("Hugs & Kisses"), a wonderfully soft mohair pullover ("Lighter than Air"), a cables and lace cardigan ("Crisp Cables Cardigan"), and the soft ribbed cardigan shown below.  The yarn used in this cardigan, "Eskdale Bells" is Naturally Karamea which consists of 75% merino wool, 15% alpaca and 10% possum!  It is a yarn that I highly recommend.

I am happy to announce my new association with Black Water Abbey Yarns!  Available in lace, sports weight and worsted weight, these authentic wools from Ireland will help you create heirloom knits which will last for generations.  I have reknit "Bell Lace Cardigan" in the sports weight yarn which now makes this spring/summer sweater great for cooler weather as well.  Look for "Sorcha" and "On Break" to be revamped in the worsted weight yarn soon.  I am taking the drop shoulder designs to a more contemporary look with the addition of set in sleeves and a more form fitting silhouette.

The new year, 2010, will bring the addition of some new designs to this site!  I have been turning most of my attention to designing for magazines, but hope to add lots and lots of new sweaters soon.  If there is anything you would especially like to see, please drop me an e-mail.  I would love to create the styles that knitters want.  In the design book at the moment is a lacy edged single closure cardigan for spring--I am still looking around for the perfect yarn :-)

Cowls are very popular and a quick way to try out new pattern stitches.  Here is one that I made out of finger weight wool.  Drop me an e-mail if you are interested in a pattern, and if there is sufficient interest, I will make it available!

Look for my book!  Available from yarn shops and booksellers nationwide.  Learn how to work your very first cable, or expand your knowledge and skill with advanced patterns.   Full color, 80 pages, published by Martingale & Company.  This book has helped many knitters overcome their fear of cables and cable needles!

Projects include 10 sweaters, 1 vest, pillows, a scarf, bag and a hat
