What's New:  Deep Vee Pullover in the April issue of Knit 'n Style magazine

The Deep-Vee Pullover (not shown--check it out in the magazine!) is knit from a great new eco-friendly yarn from Coats & Clark.  To quote from the Coats & Clark website: "Created from 30% recycled polyester made from plastics found in soda and water bottles, Eco-Ways™ helps lessen the impact on the environment and reduce the size of landfills. Even the ball band is printed on recycled paper!"

I really liked the feel of this yarn while knitting this sweater.  It does not block out nicely as wool yarn would, so keep that in mind, but there are many, many uses for this great new eco yarn.

Did you know that 2009 has been named the United Nation's as the International Year of Natural Fibers?  Let's all do what we can to help foster awareness of natural fibers.  We have so many wonderful choices now, so see what is available at your local yarn store, and make some great natural fiber projects.
